Create a game first / Follow the NODE.JS multiplayer videos first?

Best Forum watchers,

I'm very interested in knowing wether i should create a game first and then work with NODE.JS or that i should watch
the NODE.JS video's first and then start creating my game in the meantime.

Welcome to Raining Chain!

I'd personally remember watching the HTML5 Single player tutorial series then watch the NodeJS multiplayer series before working on your own game.

Bad early design decisions could make developing the game very hard. Following the tutorials will make you avoid the common pitfalls.
